STEP 1)
Put the base print in front of you
STEP 2)
Number your remaining prints 2,3,4 and 5. Separate the background
from the foreground. Do this by cutting the easel from print No2
and sticking it directly on top of your base print, using 5mm blobs
of glue. This is now your main subject.
STEP 3)
From print No 3 cut out the painters pallet and the picture he is
copying and stick it on the main subject. Then cut out the paper
he is standing on and stick it onto the base print.
STEP 4)
From print No4 cut out the painters body, as shown and stick onto
the main subject using 5mm blobs of glue.
| STEP
5) From print No 5 cut out his head, sleeves and pants (remember
to include his handkerchief). Shape and stick these bits onto the
painters body that you have just cut out. Also, when cutting out his
pants cut into his waistcoat a bit so that when dressing up later
there is no gap showing. Cut the bottle out and using a very generous
blob of glue stick directly onto the base print. The bottle must end
up in front of the picture the artist is copying. |

trouser patch and the wooden block showing at the top of the easel.
